Full Circle Aero

Pete Muntean is a lifelong student of aerobatics, now providing instruction through Full Circle Aero. His teaching emphasizes encouragement, fun, and strong fundamentals, while helping pilots build confidence and precision at their own pace.

Aerobatic instruction is a family tradition. Pete’s late mother, air show pilot Nancy Lynn, also taught aerobatics in a red Extra. Read Pete’s story in People Magazine.

Working with students has been one of the great joys of Pete’s more than 20 years of flying. He has taught pilots at every level, from pre-solo students to senior airline captains. In 2023, he was invited to Africa to provide recurrent training to pilots of the Kenya Wildlife Service air wing.

Pete is a Certificated Flight Instructor and Instrument Instructor, holds commercial privileges for single- and multi-engine airplanes, and is an Advanced Ground Instructor.

When Pete isn’t teaching, he is working as a reporter covering aviation or training for his next aerobatic competition. He has flown the Super Decathlon and Extra in more than 30 International Aerobatic Club contests, earning multiple first-place and podium finishes. He has trained with some of the most respected names in the sport and has competed twice at the U.S. National Aerobatic Championships.
